Welcome back! This week we kick off with our ode to womanhood. We talk about why Malala Yousafzai, Yara Shahidi and Gretta Cohn are just three rockstars shining during this Women’s History Month.
NBC recently announced that Weekend Update, the Saturday Night Live segment featuring Micheal Che and Colin Jost, has been signed on to run as a prime-time show during this summer. We gush over the exciting news and map out our post-Bachelor plans.
Adults are having less sex than 20 years ago. As Millennials make up a significant portion of this age group, we chat about ways in which our generation could be contributing to the dip.
This is The Millennial Hour.

#TMH Tune of the Week: Raphaael Saadiq // Still Ray
While Steph was busy taking in all of Beyonce’s reign at Made in America (and making me very jealous via Snapchat), I spent my weekend enjoying a couple of my favorite nature spots in Maryland before the weather officially shifts into the upcoming fall season.
On Saturday, I hit up Great Falls Park, a beautiful place to go hiking and relaxing while taking in up close views of the Potomac River – which runs through the entire DMV area. Sunday, I took a day trip with the family to Ocean City, MD where I indulged in (way too much) junk food and got in my last tanning opportunity in the summer sun (whoop whoop!).
Check out a some pictures from my weekend in the gallery below. 🙂
A breathtaking view of the Potomac.
Had to snap a selfie while hiking, of course.
My wonderful hiking partner for the day, who made sure I didn’t fall or mysteriously go missing at this huge park.
Some of the steep rocks we successfully conquered.
There’s a story behind this picture…but I’ll keep it short. After about 20 mins or so strategizing the best way to get access to the river water, we finally found a way by sliding down a huge rock. It was a somewhat easy way down, not so easy back up. Let’s just say, I’m happy to be in one piece.
An attempt to capture my cool shadow.
Unfortunately, I don’t have as many pics from my beach trip, but here is my little sister Jalyn and I . She got much more tan than me.
